Background

Geoff Dixon is a consultant specialising in the implementation of the Oracle Human Resources Management software applications.  He is based in Sussex, but has worked on Oracle projects across the United Kingdom and abroad.

Geoff has a background in human resources management, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).  Whilst working as the Personnel Strategy Manager at the Guinness Trust Housing Association, he developed an interest in the possibilities offered to the Human Resources function by the increasingly powerful Human Resources software systems becoming available.

In 1997 he joined Oracle as a consultant specialising in the implementation of the Oracle Human Resources modules within Oracle’s e-Business suite.  In 2001 he joined EDS as Lead Oracle HR Consultant on the Ministry of Defence’s Joint Personnel Administration project, a role he filled for two years.

In January 2004 Dixon Associates was formed so that Geoff could work independently as a consultant helping organisations to implement and develop their use of the Oracle HRMS applications.
